Sam Milby expressed relief and gratitude as his sister Ada is now “safe and healing” after she figured in a road accident while driving a motorcycle.

Sam showed himself with Ada, who is currently using crutches to help her walk, through his Instagram page on Friday, Jan. 10.

Also included in the actor-singer’s post are videos from the accident, which shows Ada in her motorcycle being hit by a vehicle from her rear. The vehicle that hit Ada was hit and shoved by a truck that supposedly lost its brake.

“Milagro. Yun ang nangyari sa Ate ko last month,” Sam wrote. “Definitely not the way she wanted to spend the holidays but thank you Lord she is safe and healing.”

“She walked away with no broken bones, just badly bruised with some stitches,” he added.

Sam shared that an individual unfortunately died from the accident, which involved several other vehicles aside from Ada’s, the one that hit her, and the truck.

“Nawalan daw ng preno yung truck at parang madalas nangyayari to. I hope more can be done to force companies to do regular checkups and maintenance for a lot of these older trucks,” Sam said.

Sam concluded his post by addressing his sister, saying, “So glad you’re ok and I love you sis.”

Beauty queen Catriona Gray, amid her rumored breakup with Sam, expressed her concern for Ada via the comments section.

“Thank God you’re safe and recovering, Ada,” Gray said. “Hope to see transportation companies stepping up to ensure safe vehicles on our roads, and the appropriate accountability when oversights lead to tragedies such as these.”

Ada, in response, admitted that she is still “half shocked” after the accident. “I really hope this can be addressed systematically to prevent unnecessary tragedies like this.”

Sam also replied to Gray and said, “Thanks Cat, at sana nga.”

Of the total, P1.35 billion will go to project development expenses for Velmiro Heights Consolacion, Velmiro Heights Davao, high-end condominium in Cebu IT Park and a mid-market condominium in Midtown Cebu.

The Athens resident only has about 150 euros ($170) to spare at the end of the month, and that is despite getting a good deal on rent and making a little more than minimum wage.
